Art Challenge Rules

1. Challenge Overview:
   • Create a 3D concept of a robot/android inspired by the 3DSpaceMouse Pro and Wireless models. You are totally free to create any type of robot but it would be good to see that you Incorporate certain elements such as materials (rubber, black shiny plastic, brushed metal, blue glowing lights) and/or the visual language (rounded curved shapes) of the 3D mouse into your design.
2. How to Participate:
   • The challenge is open to everyone. To participate, share your progress on Instagram and/or Discord throughout the challenge with the hashtag: #3DMouseChallenge
   • Final submissions must be posted in the dedicated Discord channel for submissions by the deadline: 11:59 PM September 30, 2024. (AEST)
3. Submission Guidelines:
   • Share your progress regularly on Instagram and/or Discord to see the development of your idea! Discord is always a great place to share since you can create your own thread in the 🚧︱art-challenge-wips channel and receive feedback.
   • Your final image render must be submitted to the ⏰︱art-submissions channel on Discord before the deadline.
   • Your final image render must be at least 1920 pixels
4. Prize Eligibility:
   • First Place: 3DSpaceMouse Pro.
   • Second Place: 3DSpaceMouse Wireless.
   • Note: 3DConnexion can only ship prizes to the countries listed here. Ensure you are eligible before participating.
5. Judging Criteria:
   • Creativity and originality of the concept.
   • Integration of the 3DSpaceMouse design elements into the robot.
   • Overall visual impact and presentation.
6. General Rules:
   • Be respectful and supportive of other participants.
   • No plagiarism—only submit your original work. AI-generated artwork is definitely not going to be considered…. This is why sharing your design progress is crucial!
   • Have fun and use this challenge as an opportunity to push your creative boundaries!
